Chicagoland is host to plently of unique, vibrant suburbs–many that are currently undergoing transit-oriented development (TOD).
The Center for Neighborhood Technology (CNT) wants photos that showcase these communities and their committment to various alternative modes of transportation.

From now until September 5, submit photos of vibrant street life, including:
Suburban TODs and downtowns filled with people
Special events like farmers markets or your favorite commmunity festival
Trains, buses, walkers and bikers
CNT will award a $50 first-place prize and two $25 second-place prizes to be voted on by your fellow urbanists and transit geeks!
